My Role with Students and Residents at Long School of Medicine, I do lots of outreach with premed students, I'm the sponsor for the AMWA organization here, and work with lots of other student organizations.  I supervise the Ophthalmology Residents' Clinic at our University Hospital.  , Three Fun Facts About Me, 1. Best autographed baseball collection in the world :) 2. My grandfather was an actor and played in movies with Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Sydney Poitier, Spencer Tracy, Katharine Hepburn and ELVIS! 3. I have met a couple of presidents and watched my boys play T-Ball on the South Lawn of the White House. 4. My Role with Students and Residents at Long School of Medicine, Each year, I mentor 2 medical students as they journey through their first and second year of medical school and facilitate patient encounters for them.  I teach students and residents when they rotate on the UH palliative care service.  Also, I teach pharmacology classes related to palliative care to 4th year medical students., Three Fun Facts About Me, 1. At University Hospital, I work with students and residents during their Internal Medicine ward month. I am a course director for one of the MS4 spring didactics. I am the Site Director for the Internal Medicine Residency at University Hospital., Three Fun Facts About Me, 1.
