About me, I was born in Nigeria. I grew up there. Moved to the United States at the age 16 (in 2011). I started college at Morgan State University Maryland. I then transferred to Texas Tech in 2013 to complete my undergrad in Chemical Engineering. I didn’t decide to do medicine until my final year in college. I took 2 gap years off between undergrad to complete my prerequisites, prepare for the application…, Hobbies/Interests, Animes, Video games, Avid sports fan (soccer and basketball especially), amateur art critic, cooking, and weight lifting., Topics I feel comfortable talking about, Gap year(s), Engineer or any other non "bio" major switch to medicine, Being a minority in medicine. Just about anything I can help with. What I hope to gain from this experience Paying it back is a very big part of who I am and I've always loved doing that either through volunteering or mentoring. I've always done mentoring any chance I get and this is another opportunity for me to continue that.

About me, I'm from the DFW area, specifically from Plano. I decided to go to UT Dallas which is only a 20 minute drive from my parents' house and lived at home all 4 years.
