Terminal Procedure

any procedure in which the animal is under anesthesia and will be euthanized before waking.

Termination of Research

a permanent cessation of all research activity by the IRB.

FDA approved for treating rare conditions based on safety and probable benefit. IRB approval prior to non-emergency use is required.
