Jeffrey Mabry receives professionalism award recognition from CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital

Jeffrey Mabry, DDS, clinical professor in the Department of Developmental Dentistry and director of the Dental Center for Children at CHRISTUS Children's Hospital in San Antonio, has been recognized by CHRISTUS for his demonstration of outstanding professionalism in values, ethics, high-quality patient care and safe practices.

"Dr. Mabry is such a wonderful teacher. He demonstrates such a passion for dentistry and his patients. He is fully committed to the dental clinic and CHRISTUS Children's. He shows great compassion for all patients. He is constantly working multiple disciplines of medicine to get his patients the best treatment," the award nomination read.

The CHRISTUS Children's Dental Center is located within the CHRISTUS Children's Hospital in San Antonio and is a satellite dental clinic for the School of Dentistry. This clinic serves a predominantly Medicaid population, and a variety of pediatric patients with special health care needs. The hospital is the base for the School of Dentistry’s Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry program’s hospital operations, including an operating room, after-hours emergency room, anesthesia rotation and a pediatric medicine rotation.
