Amy Boudin-George, AuD

Dr. Amy Boudin-George is a Clinical Audiologist and the Acting Section Chief for the Clinical Care, Rehabilitation, and Restoration Section (CCS) at the Defense Health Agency Hearing Center of Excellence (HCE), at Joint Base San Antonio – Lackland. She leads a team of researchers and clinicians who are experts in auditory and vestibular management to ensure all members of the Armed Forces suffering from hearing loss, tinnitus, and/or auditory-vestibular injury receive comprehensive, coordinated, high-quality treatment.

The Section supports the Military Health System by establishing and promoting evidence-based clinical standards of care and provides clinical-skills training and education across the DoD in partnership with DoD Clinical Communities and organizations within the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Dr. Boudin-George has led HCE efforts in audiology clinical coding standardization, continuing education programs and products, and policy/program development for clinical assessment and rehabilitation. She has served as a government employee with the HCE since 2015, starting as a contractor in support of the CCS in January of 2014. Prior to joining the HCE, Dr. Boudin-George worked as a Diagnostic and Rehabilitative Audiologist at a neurotology clinic in Albuquerque, NM. She received her doctorate of audiology in 2010 from Louisiana State University Health Science Center. She is currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a PhD in Translational Science.
